About Us

The History of SCIS

SCIS was founded in 2001, as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group. Partnering with multiple airlines, we launched our Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) services by deploying and supporting the point of sale (POS) devices used by flight attendants, and the inflight entertainment IFE systems used by passengers. We quickly grew and expanded our EMM services to support multiple departments and business needs, recently deploying and supporting a maintenance department for one of our airline customers that involves tablets, scanners, RFID equipment, and printers in over 250 airports around the world.

Our experience in the complex and constantly-evolving world of airline services has granted us a comprehensive and detailed understanding of all aspects of mobility management. Further to this, our responsibility to protect a brand’s reputation, its shareholders and customers, has resulted in SCIS developing precise standards and procedures to which it holds itself accountable. It is this commitment to process compliance, the consistent implementation of processes across the country, and a zero-tolerance approach that has contributed to SCIS being recognized by its customers as the ‘Gold Standard’ in operational delivery.

With these unparalleled standards and capabilities, SCIS is ideally placed to offer its mobility management services to businesses in any industry.
